Disney on Damage Control, Scales Back 'Snow White' Premiere After Star’s Comments on Trump Voters

Disney has scaled back the premiere of its live-action "Snow White" remake in damage control after actress Rachel Zegler’s controversial remarks against Trump voters sparked backlash. The originally planned large-scale event will now be a more low-key affair, with access limited to photographers and house crew, excluding media outlets.

Zegler, who stars as Snow White, faced criticism for her past tirade against Trump supporters and her comments labeling the original 1937 film as “dated.” Co-star Gal Gadot, who portrays the Evil Queen, also encountered scrutiny for her pro-Israel stance. Additionally, Disney’s choice to reimagine the Seven Dwarfs as "magical creatures" instead of traditional dwarf actors has fueled further criticism.
